A Home for Odia Heritage in the United Kingdom

The Odisha Society of the United Kingdom (OSUK) is the heart of the Odia community in the United Kingdom — connecting people through shared heritage, service, and celebration. Founded over four decades ago, our society is dedicated to preserving Odia culture, promoting community cohesion, and empowering future generations of Odias living in the UK.

From Humble Beginnings to a Thriving Community

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, a small group of Odia professionals and their families came together in the UK, driven by a desire to stay connected to their roots. Over time, these grassroots gatherings evolved into formal conventions and community events, growing into a nationally recognised organisation.
